Almost there....

Okay, this is not about crafting directly but the sooner we get settled in the new house the sooner my sewing machine can come out and play!!

We close on the old house on Monday and then have 9 days to get all our junk OUT!  So, this leads me to the new house.  I will say it now....we will NEVER intentionally build a house ever again.  This has been a very stressful experience.  I am sure others have worse stories than mine, but compounded with the holidays this was just too much.  We go for a walk thru this afternoon.  I will not say this is our final walk thru because I KNOW that they are not done and there will be many many MANY things that will need to be fixed.  **sigh**  I have very little faith that we will make our Dec 22nd close date but who knows.  Miracles happen at Christmas, right?? At lease I can say that Christmas morning will not happen in a hotel.  We will either be in our current home or in the new one.  Santa only has these two addresses and the kids are counting on him ;)
